Accessibility statement

The Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) in Antwerp is dedicated to making its website, www.wanda.be, fully accessible, in line with the Flanders Administration Decree of 7 December 2018 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.

Non-accessible content

While most content complies with WCAG 2.1 AA standards, there are a few exceptions that are not fully accessible. These include:

• Disease distribution maps: These world maps are not fully described in text. However, the relevant information is available on individual country pages. Additionally, the color contrast on the maps may be insufficient. we recommend scheduling an appointment at a travel clinic or with your general practitioner.

Creation of the accessibility declaration

This accessibility statement was drawn up on 13 July 2021. The criteria for achieving the AA label were validated by AnySurfer, in accordance with Article 3(1) of Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523. The AA label was awarded on 15 July 2024.
